The NATCATS sub-brand was born because of my passion for the cat and the fact that I am not allowed to keep pets in my flat, so I did the next best thing and started creating my own breed of cats; NATCATS. I launched the brand in October 2015 with an exclusive event: 'Adopt A NATCAT' where I invited people to come along and adopt their very own NATCAT, which came with its very own adoption certificate signed by the artist.
If Cats Wore Paul Smith
'If Cats Wore Paul Smith' was a collaboration piece that I did with the Paul Smith Brand. I developed some cat figurines that featured Paul Smith designs on them, complete with their own handmade packaging & printed postcards. Paul Smith thenprinted them onto t-shirts that were then sold at selected boutique stores across the UK in October 2015.
Here is a selection of screen-prints that I have recently created. The theme of these prints as you can see is largely CAT related...Because 'I like cats!' These prints are also available to buy on my etsy shop
Tech & Digital
I created these images for a client's co working office space. The co working space was for tech and digital and so the pieces needed to be pleasing to the eye, brightly coloured, slightly abstract and related loosely to tech and digital industries without being to distracting.
In recent months I have invested a lot of time turning my passion for a certain furry feline into an assortments of zines, murals, NATCATS and prints. Making these CAT related products is something I want to continue to do...forever!
Second look is a series of images that illustrate a rather ordinary and mundane journey I frequently took. However, instilled with the idea that everything big and small has in its own right an element of beauty. I tried to capture moments in my journey that encapsulated this idea and here is the result. I used a mixture of magnified views, bird's eye view and normal views.
